Day 1: Luang Prabang, Laos
Arrive in Luang Prabang.

Day 2: Luang Prabang
Tour Luang Prabang including the National Museum, Wat Visoun, Wat Xiengthong, and the Traditional Arts & Ethnology Center. Watch a Baci Ceremony, traditionally held to commemorate a special event.

Day 3: Luang Prabang
Explore Kuang Si Falls, enjoying time to relax and swim. Embark on a motor boat ride on the Mekong River to visit the famous Pak Ou Caves, where hundreds of gilded and wooden Buddha statues are housed. Visit a local primary school.

Day 4: Luang Prabang / Vientiane
Participate in alms giving to saffron-robed monks, an awe-inspiring sight. Fly to Vientiane and visit the capital city’s major historic sites including Wat Sisaket, which boasts over 8,000 Buddha statues. Tour a textile studio.

Day 5: Vientiane / Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Fly to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Tour the National Museum, Royal Palace, and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum.

Day 6: Phnom Penh / Siem Reap
Fly to Siem Reap, a charming gateway town to the famous Angkor temple complex. Visit the elegant temple of Banteay Srei, the birthplace of classical Khmer-style architecture. Visit Artisans d’Angkor to see how artisans preserve age-old Khmer arts and crafts.

Day 7: Siem Reap
Take a tuk-tuk (rickshaw) ride to the royal city Angkor Thom. Visit atmospheric Ta Prohm, a jungle-clad temple. Explore the intricately carved Khmer ruins at Angkor Wat – truly one of the world’s most impressive ruins. Enjoy a special dinner including a traditional Cambodian Apsara dance performance.

Day 8: Siem Reap / Depart for Home
Take a boat ride on Tonle Sap Lake, meeting local families and touring a floating house. Depart for home.
