Day 1: Beijing, China
Arrive in Beijing.

Day 2: Beijing
Visit Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Indulge in the tastes of China with a Peking Duck dinner.

Day 3: Beijing
Walk along the awe-inspiring Great Wall of China, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy a Kung Fu show at the Red Theater.

Day 4: Beijing
Visit the Temple of Heaven, a complex of Chinese architectural masterpieces. Take a pedi-cab tour of Old Beijing, exploring the city’s traditional neighborhoods called Hutongs. Join a Hutong family for a dumpling making lesson.

Day 5: Beijing / Datong / Xi’an
Fly to Datong. Tour the Hanging Monastery and Yungang Grottos. Fly to Xi’an.

Day 6: Xi’an
Visit the Terracotta Warriors, one of the most remarkable archeological discoveries of the 20th century. Explore the Forest of Steles.

Day 7: Xi’an / Guilin
Bike ride along the ancient city walls of Xi’an. Fly to Guilin.

Day 8: Guilin / Xingping / Guilin
Take a cruise down the Li River. Disembark in Xingping township to explore river life. Bike to the Yulong River and float downstream aboard a bamboo raft.

Day 9: Guilin / Shanghai
Fly to Shanghai and enjoy the afternoon at leisure.

Day 10: Shanghai
Visit the Yu Garden, the most celebrated classical Chinese garden in Shanghai. Visit the Cheng Huang Miao Bazaar, and take a walking tour of the French Concession, one of Shanghai’s most charming districts.

Day 11: Shanghai / Suzhou
Visit Suzhou, an ancient city of graceful canals, old residences and rich cultural heritage, and take a look into China’s past. Enjoy a canal cruise, stopping at Xumen, the historic city gate. Visit Master of the Net’s Garden, a UNESCO World Heritage site and Suzhou’s smallest but most exquisite garden.

Day 12: Shanghai / Depart for Home
Say farewell to China and depart for home.
