Day 1: Kathmandu, Nepal
Arrive in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Kathmandu
Explore Kathmandu, including the Pashupatinath Temple and the Boudhanath stupa. Travel to Patan, famous for its arts and crafts.

Day 3: Kathmandu / Annapurna Circuit Trek
Enjoy a scenic drive to Basi to begin the Annapurna Circuit Trek, a two week route that winds from sub-tropical zones to the edge of the arid Tibetan Plateau.

Day 4: Annapurna Circuit Trek
Hike through Nepal’s breathtaking landscape, encircling the entire Annapurna Himal. Hike toward Jagat, passing a large suspension bridge, local tea shops, terraced rice fields, waterfalls, and hot springs.

Day 5: Annapurna Circuit Trek
Pass through the Taal valley, dotted with maize, barley, and potato fields. Arrive at Dharapani, signified by stone gateways, the characteristic entrance to villages in Manang.

Day 6: Annapurna Circuit Trek
Embrace exotic views of the Annapurna II, Lamjung himal, stone homes with firewood stacked in the flat roofs, and a Buddhist monastery. Arrive at Chame, the district headquarters of Manang.

Day 7: Annapurna Circuit Trek
Head to Upper Pisang, passing apple orchards, the Marshyangdi River, and Pisang. Enjoy magnificent views of the Annapurna II and Pisang Peak along the way.

Day 8: Annapurna Circuit Trek
Trek to Bhraka through some truly amazing scenery. Stop for lunch in Pisang, a lovely Tibetan village with a superb Mani Wall. In the afternoon gain a splendid viewpoint and visit the tea house in Braga.

Day 9: Annapurna Circuit Trek
Spend today acclimatizing and exploring Manang. Visit the lake and go to Bhraka Gompa to visit the lama who prays on behalf of trekkers for a successful ascent.

Day 10: Annapurna Circuit Trek
Climb out of Manang past stupas and prayer flags. Leave the fields behind entering dry juniper country, looking out for blue sheep and lammergeyers. Spend the night in Yak Kahrka, set over 13,000 feet.

Day 11: Annapurna Circuit Trek
Enjoy a mostly easy walk to Phedi, following the Jharsang Khola all the way to Thorong Phedi, a large collection of hotels with electricity, phones, and showers.

Day 12: Annapurna Circuit Trek
Rise before dawn to get to the pass before the wind picks up and the snow gets soft. As the sky lightens, the views open up to reveal stunning mountain views. Enjoy a cup of tea at 17,769 feet and begin the descent. Visit the temples near Muktinath to see the flames burning in a stream of water.

Day 13: Annapurna Circuit Trek
Trek to Marpha, the apple capital of Nepal, with a long gradual descent through spectacular scenery. Take a special route off the beaten path to the Lupra village and Jomsom, before continuing through apple orchards to Marpha.

Day 14: Annapurna Circuit Trek
Explore Marpha this morning and drive to Tatopani. Enjoy a tea break and hot springs in Tatopani.

Day 15: Annapurna Circuit Trek
Set out on a slow uphill hike through orchards and picturesque villages to Ghorepani.

Day 16: Annapurna Circuit Trek
Enjoy an early morning excursion to Poon Hill to see the sun rise. Return to Ghorepani before walking through forest to Tadapani.

Day 17: Annapurna Circuit Trek / Pokhara
Descend to Birethanti, crossing picturesque villages and a suspension bridge, completing the Annapurna Circuit. Transfer to Pokhara and enjoy an evening at leisure by the lake.

Day 18: Pokhara / Kathmandu
Explore Mophara this morning before flying to Kathmandu.

Day 19: Kathmandu / Depart for Home
Say farewell to Nepal and depart for home.

Note: Travelers will be hiking 5-8 hours each day on the Annapurna Circuit on uneven terrain and at altitudes over 17,000 feet.
