Day 1: Bangkok, Thailand 

Arrive at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport and proceed with all formalities. Depending on arrival time, relax at the hotel or explore your new environment.

Day 2: Bangkok

Enjoy a half day tour visiting two of Bangkok’s most notable landmarks, the Grand Palace and Wat Arun, also referred to as the Temple of Dawn.  Cruise the river via long tail boat to Wat Arun, a Buddhist temple constructed between 1809 and 1851, and wander around its peaceful grounds.  Continue by boat until you reach Ta Chang Pier and walk 5 minutes to the Grand Palace. 

Day 3: Bangkok / Ayutthaya

Depart for a 1.5 hour drive through Bangkok’s rural outskirts to Ayutthaya History Park. Spend the day admiring Ayutthaya and its surrounds, capital of the Thai Kingdom for 417 years.  This afternoon, board the Grand Pearl and enjoy a Thai lunch whilst cruising back to Bangkok. 

Day 4: Bangkok / Chiang Rai

Take a morning tour of Bangkok, giving new insight into Bangkok’s religious life and how people still manage to combine their busy modern lifestyles with more peaceful traditions. Fly to Chiang Rai and spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Day 5: Chiang Rai 

After breakfast, meet your guide and start exploring Thailand’s most northern city, home to about 65,000 people of whom 12.5% are ethnic hill tribes.  Begin your tour by visiting the ancient temple of Wat Phra Kae, original home of the Emerald Buddha which is now housed in Bangkok.  Continue with visits to traditional Akha and Yao hill tribe villages.  After lunch, head to Mae Sai, the northernmost point of Thailand.

Day 6: Chiang Rai / Chiang Mai

Transfer to Chiang Mai. En route, visit three unique villages with the local Akha people, the Yao people, and later the Padong hill tribe people. After arrival in Chiang Mai, settle in and enjoy a tradition dinner along with a colorful northern Thai Khan Toke dance show.

Day 7: Chiang Mai

Enjoy a day with elephants, Thailand’s most loved animal at Chiang Dao Elephant Training Camp. After lunch, Take one-hour bamboo raft trip downstream and float down the river, embracing the tranquility and beauty of the area.

Day 8: Chiang Mai / Krabi

Enjoy a day with elephants, Thailand’s most loved animal at Chiang Dao Elephant Training Camp. After lunch, Take one-hour bamboo raft trip downstream and float down the river, embracing the tranquility and beauty of the area.

Day 9: Krabi 

Spend the day on white sand beaches and unspoiled islands.  Explore the caves for some surprising images and relics.  Continue your trip with a visit to the Shell Cemetery.

Day 10: Krabi
Spend the day at leisure on the beautiful beaches or enjoy other adventurous activities such as sea kayaking, rock climbing, or scuba diving

Day 11: Krabi / Bangkok / Depart for Home
Fly back to Bangkok and connect with your international departure.
