Day 1: Tel Aviv, Israel
Arrive in Tel Aviv, also called “The White City” in honor of the white Bauhaus buildings which dominate its architectural landscape.

Day 2: Tel Aviv / Jaffa
Set out on a walking tour Tel Aviv, including a visit to the famous and colorful Carmel Market. In Jaffa, see the ancient port, the artist quarter, and the Jaffa Clock Tower, and take in beautiful panoramic views from Old Jaffa.

Day 3: Sea of Galilee
Explore Caesarea National Park, once the Roman capital in Judea and later a fortified Crusader town. Discover the grottos and rocky passageways at Rosh Hanikra. Visit the towering Crusader fortress of Montfort.

Day 4: Hula Valley Nature Reserve
Visit the Talmudic village of Katsrin, and the army bunkers of Mount Bental, a volcanic cone with a view into Syria. Explore the Hula Valley Nature Reserve to observe the avian wildlife. Go kayaking on the Jordan River.

Day 5: Dead Sea
Explore Ein Gedi Nature Reserve during a guided hike to a waterfall. Spend the afternoon floating in the Dead Sea.

Day 6: Jerusalem
Enjoy an archaeological experience at Emek Tzurim where you can sift through ruins taken from the Temple Mount during recent excavations. Tour the newest excavations in Jerusalem including Warren’s Shaft. Explore Hezekiah’s Tunnel.

Day 7: Jerusalem
Ascend the Mount of Olives and experience a magnificent panoramic view of the Old City. Explore Jerusalem’s Old City - visit the tomb of King David and the room of the Last Supper on Mount Zion. Enter the walled city and meander through the newly restored Jewish Quarter. Walk near the Roman Cardo, and continue to the Western Wall. Stroll along the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher and Mount Scopus.

Day 8: Jerusalem
Drive to the Mount of Remembrance for a visit to the Yad Vashem Holocaust History Museum. Continue on to the Israel Museum to see the Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed.

Day 9: Jerusalem / Depart for Home
Say farewell to Israel and depart for home.
